The Introduction of Qingdao No.58 High School Shandong Province
Founded in 1952 as Qingdao No.5 Middle School, Qingdao No.58 High School was renamed as Laoshan No.1 Middle School in 1969 and officially changed its name to Qingdao No.58 High School in 1994. It is now a standardized school in Shandong Province and pilot school for educational informationization of national primary and secondary schools.
Qingdao No.58 High School is a prestigious boarding school. The campus covers an area of 96 mu of land, with a green area of 15,091 square meters and a construction area of 37,233 square meters. The school has teaching buildings, an information center, a laboratory building, residence halls, canteens, a school playing field, a gym and so on and those are all up to the national first class standard. It also has a top-ranking school library, laboratories, closed-circuit television and campus network, and advanced multimedia equipment which can be used in the entire teaching environment.
